Education
He graduated from the University of Jordan with an LL.B. and was subsequently awarded his LL.M. from Oxford Brookes University, England. He is licensed as an advocate to practice in Palestine.
Experience
His main field of specialization is intellectual property, which involves handling litigation, consultancy matters and the registration of patents, designs, and trade marks. He also has extensive experience in advising on banking, finance, corporate and commercial related matters in Palestine. His litigation practice covers a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial law, as well as particular specialization in banking, intellectual property, insurance and labor laws.
Mr. Attereh focuses on the arbitration and mediation as alternative dispute resolution and has attended many legal certificates regarding these areas since his graduation. He also obtained The Mediator Certification Program from the Center for Conflict Management, Kennesaw State University.
He wrote about the legal protection of trade mark domain names under the ICANN-UDRP and the Anti-cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. He also wrote articles in International Banking, Trade and Investment Law.
In addition to the legal duties, as well as
the responsibility for the day to day management of the firm, he
is also a lecturer at An-Najah National University." |
